人生

もし游泳を学ばないものに泳げと命ずるものがあれば、何人も無理だと思ふであらう。
もし又ランニングを学ばないものに駈けろと命ずるものがあれば、やはり理不尽だと思はざるを得ない。
しかし我我は生まれた時から、かう云ふ莫迦げた命令を負はされてゐるのも同じことである。 　 　

我我は母の胎内にゐた時、人生に処する道を学んだであらうか？　
しかも胎内を離れるが早いか、兎に角大きい競技場に似た人生の中に踏み入るのである。
勿論游泳を学ばないものは満足に泳げる理窟はない。
同様にランニングを学ばないものは大抵人後に落ちさうである。
すると我我も創痍を負はずに人生の競技場を出られる筈はない。 　

成程世人は云ふかも知れない。「学人の跡を見るが好い。あそこに君たちの手本がある」と。
しかし百の游泳者や千のランナアを眺めたにしろ、忽ち游泳を覚えたり、ランニングに通じたりするものではない。 のみならずその游泳者は悉水を飲んでをり、その又ランナアは一人残らず競技場の土にまみれてゐる。
見給へ、世界の名選手さへ大抵は得意の微笑のかげに渋面を隠してゐるではないか？ 　

人生は狂人の主催に成つたオリムピツク大会に似たものである。
我我は人生と闘ひながら、人生と闘ふことを学ばねばならぬ。
かう云ふゲエムの莫迦々々しさに憤慨を禁じ得ないものはさつさと埒外に歩み去るが好い。
自殺も亦確かに一便法である。
しかし人生の競技場に踏み止まりたいと思ふものは創痍を恐れずに闘はなければならぬ。

四つん這ひになつたランナアは滑稽であると共に悲惨である。
水を呑んだ游泳者も涙と笑とを催させるであらう。
我我は彼等と同じやうに、人生の悲喜劇を演ずるものである。
創痍を蒙るのはやむを得ない。
が、その創痍に堪へる為には、——世人は何と云ふかも知れない。
わたしは常に同情と諧謔とを持ちたいと思つてゐる。

イタリア人の友人パオロ君が、本人曰く”数年来の夢”であった来日を遂に果たした。

プロの音響エンジニア・作曲家でもあるパオロ君には、各方面から様々な”御仕事”の依頼が殺到していたのであるが、
本人曰く
”パピ（私の事）、2年間の周到な準備の末、やっと日本で数ヶ月暮らせる見込みが立ったのダ。誰が何と言おうと俺は日本に行くのダ！”
との事だったので、普段は海外の”プロフェッショナル”達の来日に際して苦言を呈する事が多い私も、
”そうか....我が友マロギスタ（パオロの渾名）よ、俺はもう何も言わんし、言えない...　俺も忙しくなるかもしれないけれど、出来る限り色んな処に連れて行くし、面白い人、ソシテ...お前が夢見る古風な、真の日本女性達を紹介するよ。
成田に降り立ったら直ぐに電話するんだぞ、迎えに行ってやるから”

と伝えておいた。が、しかし....

午前中、久々の自由時間を満喫した後、ジムへ泳ぎに行く前に小一時間でも昼寝をしようと眠りについたのは良かったのだが､､､､

ドンドン、ドンドン、ドンドン！
ドアを叩く音に目を覚ます。
一体誰だ！俺の大切な睡眠時間を侵害するのは！？
私は今をトキメクホリエモン御大でなければ、
天下の小泉劇場の主席指揮者でもない！
但し、髪型は似ているが。。。（私の場合、一族の古より続く天然パーマ、もといイタリア・スペイン人のようなダーク・ブラウンのウェイビー・ヘアである。）

フラフラしながら、ドアを開けると、そこに立っていたのは.....

女性への想い

突然だが、私は女性イラストレーターの作品を鑑賞するのが好きである。
いつ頃からか、正確には思い出せぬが、本屋さんに行くたびに私は女性ファッション誌のページをパラパラ捲ったりするのが好きになったのである。
えっなんでこの人が？と私の顔を覗き込む人、アパレル関係？とひそかな同類意識に微笑む人、私が読んでるのと同じね、ウフフと微笑む人、
人間観察も愉しいものである。

なぜ、女性誌？
理由、それを問われるとよく分からない。

【普段自分の周りを肩で風を切りつつ闊歩する、片山さつき氏や佐藤ゆかり氏の如き""Career Women"風オンナではなく、雑誌でいえば装苑等に載っている市川姉妹のヨウナ格好をして表参道や代官山をのんびりと散歩していそうな、やはらかな感性 を持ったひとに、珠にはココロを奪われてみたい。】
そうした潜在的欲求を貴方はお持ちね、と大学時代の先輩（何故か臨床心理学でPh.D獲得を目指し漸進し続ける女医Ｓ氏）の分析に瞠目させられた先日の会合....
やはり、自分に素直になるのが一番ですか、そうですか。

ということで、何の脈略もなく紹介してしまいます、私のお気に入り女性イラストレーターさん。

再来週は、はやさきさんの展覧会に前述パオロ君を伴ってお邪魔してみたいと思う。
何でも、風の噂では、トリノのパガニーニこと我が朋友パオロ君は、早速知り合った素敵な日本人女性との逢瀬をタノシンでいる模様である。
昨今、地球温暖化のせいか東京の街のお天気模様は予測不可能である、特に晩から、ヨルにかけては。二人の逢引？の行方は私の与り知るところではないが、兎に角愛運？長久を祈るのみである。

何故か良く分からないが、日本の文化・伝統を敬愛し、真善美を追及する彼のようなアーティストであれば、全く嫉妬の気持ちも生じないのである。ドイツ人の学生ラルフ君、イングランド人のスゴ腕技術者ジェイムズ君の場合もそうであった、今から思い返せば...

むしろ、素直に喜ばしく、又誇らしいのだ。我が愛する母国の女性達、大和撫子を、彼等が敬い慕ってくれる事が。自然と、心から今後の幸せな展開を祈りたくなる。

単純？そう、時に複雑性は理性の自己規制の閾値を超える時、
原点に回帰するものである。
好男好女の逢瀬を邪魔するような哲学理論が左脳に滲入を試みるならば、それを私は柔道の鈴木ケイジ選手のような内股すかしで回避したい（笑）。
